Tap water comes from a shared neighborhood well. The water is checked regularly with the Vancouver Island Health Authority. The water has a slight sulfurous taste/odor and is very soft. Personally I like it and drink it, but I’m probably in the minority. The cabin has drinking water jugs and they can be refilled at the coop, either inside or, using the coin-operated  machine (two toonies) behind the coop gas bar.
